In August of 2024, Brick Executive Search launched a critical search for University Interns to join our team, as #THEFUTUREISNOW

We have mentored young talent since the firm launched in 2021.

And I have worked with the Fashion Scholarship Fund and Kent State University as a portfolio critic since 2007. I have always mentored the future.

When Terah Ramos posted on LinkedIn for College Credit interns, we received an #overwhelming response of students who were majoring in mostly fashion functional areas (universities don’t offer degrees in executive search).

We were absolutely delighted with the eager and bright-eyed talent knocking on our door. Terah Ramos reviewed 800 applications, screening dozens of candidates, and interviewing the top #1%.

Among the finalists, everyone did a VISUAL project about up-and-coming small businesses. (This was so they could hit the ground running with business development)

We “kicked up our high heels” when we found Cassidy Gays and Sofia Calderon.

We were impressed with Cassidy's passion for fashion and journalism. We loved Sofia's drive and taste level. But neither knew about Fashion Executive Search.

HOWEVER, the lack of experience didn't hold either of them back. It is not easy to work remotely, but each day they SHOWED UP- responsive, reliable, energetic, and ready to learn. Creating amazing graphics, branding, keeping an eye out for trending companies and eligible candidates.

Through all this, we know that they are now among the ELITE entering the workforce.

Cassidy Gays credits the BES Fashion Recruiting internship program for her acceptance to Condé Nast MBA program in the UK.
